Scope and Content: The bulk of the collection consists of memorandum books kept by John Bruner, an early settler of Nebraska, detailing the weather, his expenditures, trips, correspondence sent and received, and other miscellaneous matters between 1859 and 1883. "Account Book, No. 2" records services rendered and accounts received and paid by John Bruner for the American Tract Society during 1859-1862.
