Tucker shared information about the development of Omaha and her personal experiences growing up during the Great Depression in Nebraska.

Scope and Contents An oral history interview with Stanley Dygas. This interview was conducted by a UNO student, Meg Green, in 1977. Dygas was born in 1916, the son of immigrant parents from Eastern Europe. During the Great Depression he worked in the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). Dygas discussed school, work and unions, farm life, friends, gangs, fights, the CCC, World War II, and social activities in his oral history interview.

Scope and Contents The oral history interview of Steve Kemper, a superintendent of Fort Atkinson State Historical Park in Fort Calhoun, Nebraska was was conducted by Meg Green on March 15, 1979. In the interview Kemper talked about the Fort Atkinson Reconstruction project, a history of Fort Atkinson, and the frontier lifestyle of its earliest European American inhabitants. Kemper shared the details of the reconstruction project and its impact on the community of Fort Calhoun.
