Tangerine Bowl (Football Game), 1955
In 1955, the Omaha University Indians, the football team of the Municipal University of Omaha, defeated the Eastern Kentucky State Maroons at the Tangerine Bowl game in Orlando, Florida. This was the capstone of a triumphant 10-0 season for the Indians, and is remembered as one of the great events in the history of OU athletics.
