Content Description This collection includes a variety of items chronicling the history of UNO Hockey since 1997. Along with Hockey equipment signed by players and coaches--jerseys, helmets, hockey sticks, pucks--there are binders containing the history of each hockey season from 1997-98 through 2016-17. Scope and Contents

The papers consist of an album with photos of the 1904-1905 University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) football team, on which Charles Borg played, and the 1904 UNL women's basketball team, on which Emma Shinbur played. The album also contains photos of theater productions and student life. In addition, there are two oversized photographs of the 1903 and 1904 UNL football team.

One photograph of Ester Robinson with a women's basketball team holding a ball that says "1923 Champs." Photocopies of newspaper clippings related to Robinson's involvement in athletics are also included.

One scrapbook about the University of Omaha men's basketball team from the 1956-1957 season. The scrapbook includes news clippings and photos from the basketball media guide or programs. Loose in the scrapbook are programs from several games, schedules, and other ephemera.

The OU vs. Creighton University men’s basketball game on February 24, 1955, was the first time the OU team defeated cross-town rival Creighton. The original film and reproductions made in the 1980s and 2015 are included.

The material was divided into those items that will be photocopied or photographed and discarded and those items that will be added to the University Archives.
