New Condoms during HIV/AIDS Crisis, 1986-2016
In the mid-1980s an unidentified Omaha medical doctor explored the possibility of bringing a new condom called Red Stripe that was distributed in Great Britain by Frederick Trading Company to the U.S. market. Included are copies of letters from 1986-1987, a note written in 2016 explaining why the doctor did not pursue FDA approval for the new condom, and an example condom package from Frederick Trading Company.
Shelton Hendricks Papers
The collection of Shelton Hendricks, Ph.D, includes copies of his published articles, material related to honors received by Hendricks from the University of Nebraska at Omaha such as the Order of the Tower at the 2005 commencement ceremony, material from his college years at Tulane including report cards and commencement programs, and copies of Hendricks' M.S. thesis and Ph.D. dissertation.
