The scrapbook of Sarah Finch was created by re-using the ledger of an unidentified business. Miss Finch’s scrapbook includes sheet music, poetry, news clippings, and illustrations. The sheet music includes a printed sheet as well as the handwritten Stephen C. Fosters song "Hard Times." The merchant’s entries cover approximately 100 pages and identification of the merchant may be possible with further study.
