Various plaques and awards given to University of Omaha president Milo Bail.
Chancellor's Medals Not Awarded, circa 2000
Four Chancellor's medals, along with four ribbons which would have been attached to the medals for wearing around the neck. The ribbons are not presently attached to the medals. The four medals are identical to one another. They would have been presented by the chancellor to a faculty or staff member in recognition of an outstanding contribution to UNO. The medals in the collection are unawarded specimens.
Commemoration of the Retirement of Milo Bail Plaque, circa 1965
The retirement ceremony of University of Omaha President Milo Bail is commemorated in this plaque that includes the remarks of then-Major DeReef Greene representing the Pen and Sword, which stressed the importance of education in the military and thanked Dr. Bail "for allowing bootstrappers to study at OU."

Hollie Bethel Papers
The Hollie Bethel collection includes materials related to Dr. Hollie Bethel's life in education. She served as a professor of Teacher Education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from about 1953 until 1977. The collection includes two photo albums which cover her life from the age of four weeks to the last years of her life (1913-1998); loose photographs; and photocopies of plaques.
