Scope and Contents
Late 19th century gold pocket watch which had been owned and used by Daniel E. Jenkins. The gold watch was gifted by Samuel Gompers because of Rev. Dr. Jenkins’ assistance with a labor dispute. The watch originally had a long chain with a skull and crossbones and another trinket. Jenkins' descendants are not sure where the chain is now, but they believe they may find it in a family estate of another relative who is still living.
