The collection includes documents that relate to John Janovy's teaching and writing career and to his research seeking to "determine how numbers and distributions of parasites are controlled in nature , with a focus on the evolution of life cycles and the consequent movement of parasitic organisms through ecosystems". Materials include correspondence, teaching materials, manuscripts and publications, artwork, CVs, news releases, news clippings.

The Louis V. Skidmore Papers consists of correspondence, articles, drafts, speeches, research notes, and photographs relating to Skidmore's work in animal pathology and parasitology. The bulk of the material consists of Skidmore's published articles and drafts relating to poultry diseases and parasites, bovine disease, animal hygiene, fowl cholera, cattle diseases, and lamb entropion.

Scope and Contents The collection is comprised of teaching aids for the Plant Pathology Department. It is broken into five different mediums: 1) Flashcards 2) Drawings 3) Photographs 4) Negatives 5) Glass Plates Each section covers basically the same material, however, some mediums require separate storage for proper preservation.
