Clay County Pig Club Demonstration, Scrapbook

Contains one scrapbook created by the Clay County Inland Livestock Club on the Nebraska Extension Hog Lot Sanitation Project in the 1920-1930s. The scrapbook gives a step-by-step account of how Nebraska Extension Agent Joe Claybaugh taught the pig club about pig hygiene and how to create shelters and sanitize pig lots to decrease disease. It also contains a song written by Joe Claybaugh on pig sanitation that won the championships at the Clay County and Nebraska State Fair.

Hispanic Society Latin America, Photographs

The photo postcards were produced by the Hispanic Society of America in the 1920s as curators traveled throughout Latin America, Portugal, and Spain.The images document places, culture, landmarks, industry, and daily life. Both rural and urban scenes are included. Each postcard contains brief information about the location, but none of the photographs are dated. Those taken in Spain were photographed by E.M. Newman.

The R.B. Warren, Animal Science Papers consists of membership rosters, competition scores, and team photographs of the University of Nebraska Livestock Judging Teams from 1909-1995. The papers contain glass slides and negatives of animal husbandry presentations on horses and livestock temperature. Significant materials include a unique 1883 tintype of cow, known as Nellie Hopewell, sweepstake winner of the Danville, Illinois Fair.
