The records consist of military materials related to the training and combat missions flown by James H. Williams with the 451st Bomb Group 725 Squadron during WWII including magazines and publications, newspaper clippings, correspondence, a memoir, flight and navigator's logs, training records and manuals, a money collection, photographs, posters, certificates, a scrapbook, and maps. The materials also include papers related to Mary Williams, wife of Jim Williams.

The Jon Sughroue, Gulf War Leaflets collection includes propaganda leaflets in both English and an Iraqi language from the Persian Gulf War, along with selected military patches. Leaflets include "Safe Conduct Pass," "Psychological Warfare," "Flags of the Coalition Forces," "The Cold Face of Death in War," and others.

The records consist of an album with family photos, travel pictures, and photos of the University of Nebraska, an album of United States Army photos, a brochure, a photograph of Klasna, a copy of Klasna's obituary, Klasna's military officer's name plate and desk name plate, bronzed desk mementos, and a compact disc containing scanned pictures of the photo albums.

The photo album depicts the Army Specialized Training Program at the University of Nebraska, as well as campus scenes, Love Library interior, scenes from England, France, and Germany, and United States military training camps.

The papers consist of a large photo album containing proofs, negatives and prints from photojournalism class, Journalism 75, and botany class, samples of satirical University of Nebraska-Lincoln newspapers, Goede's military memorabilia including official ID cards, letters and documents, Air Force insignia, military ID tags, photos, a vita, and obituaries.

The records consist of class notes on flight training lessons and flight training manuals.
