The correspondence in this collection detail inquiries about donating the Bettis oral history materials to the American Quilt Study Group. Between 1973 and 1982, George Round conducted oral history interviews with about 300 individuals connected to the development of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, agriculture, and the state of Nebraska. The oral histories cover the time period from 1910 to 1973. The oral history records include cassette tapes, reel-to-reel tapes, and selected interview transcripts. The materials are arranged alphabetically.
