The items were gifts to Jim Leslie from various persons associated with the University of Nebraska at Omaha and its predecessor the Municipal University of Omaha, given during his tenure as UNO Alumni Association president, from 1973 until 2005. Many items are undated.

The Robert Gilmer and René Orduña collection is composed of personal and professional material from Gilmer and Orduña’s lives together. Most of the material covers the lives of Gilmer and Orduña in Omaha from the period after they left New York City in 1986 through the 2010s. The collection includes photographs, posters, programs, items from Gilmer and Orduña's wedding, and news coverage of Dixie Quicks, René Orduña, and RNG Gallery.
The collection of Shelton Hendricks, Ph.D, includes copies of his published articles, material related to honors received by Hendricks from the University of Nebraska at Omaha such as the Order of the Tower at the 2005 commencement ceremony, material from his college years at Tulane including report cards and commencement programs, and copies of Hendricks' M.S. thesis and Ph.D. dissertation.

The TEDxUNO 2019 collection includes material advertising the February 16, 2019, TEDxUNO event held at the UNO Strauss Performing Arts Center on UNO's Dodge Campus. The event was titled TEDxUNO: Resilience, and speakers included Suzanne Adams, Aakriti Agrawal, Carrie Anderson, Scott Jones, Madison Larimore, Kate Lund, Dominique Morgan, Gatluak Ramdiet, and Sasha Shillcutt. In addition to the live speakers, four pre-recorded TED Talks Videos were shown.
The collection consists of a University of Nebraska alumni card issued in 1929, an unofficial class credit book, a program for a benefit concert held at the University Coliseum in 1941, and a page with a few biographical details about Dunn.
