Dorothy Bettis, Quilt Oral Histories

The correspondence in this collection detail inquiries about donating the Bettis oral history materials to the American Quilt Study Group. The collection includes typed transcriptions and 9 cassette tapes of an oral interview with Dorothy Bettis done by Glenna Brock between May and September 1988. Elwood W. Camp, World War II Records

The materials include a handwritten diary, general, special and restricted military orders from Camp's ROTC service and as part of the U.S. Army. Camp's scrapbook includes correspondence, photographs, and newspaper clippings following World War II. One of Camp's ancestors served in the Civil War and the letters he wrote between 1862 and 1864 were transcribed and self-published by Andrew J. Morris in 1984.

Includes two photographs of the Fairmont Creamery. In the first photo, a large group of workers stand in front of the Fairmont Creamery Company buildings and trucks in Crete, Nebraska.
