Crete Relay Scrapbook

The Crete Relay was organized by the OU Alumni Association after an invitation from the Mayor of Omaha to the Mayor of Crete to sit with him at the OU Homecoming game against Doane College. Lambda Chi Alpha Pledges

One sheet of paper with the Lambda Chi Alpha crest and member signatures. the members were formerly part of Sigma Lambda Beta, which was a social fraternity established at the Municipal University of Omaha in 1949. It was the last OU fraternity to affiliate with a national organization when it joined Lambda Chi Alpha in May 1952.

It is unrelated to the Latino fraternity Sigma Lambda Beta which established a chapter at UNO in 2000.
