The Melvin Masek scrapbook includes newspaper clippings, game programs, photographs, and ticket stubs related to the 1962 University of Omaha football season. Mel Masek, University of Omaha (OU) class of 1964, was a member of the 1962 OU football squad. This scrapbook was compiled by the Masek family in the fall of 1962 during the football season.

The scrapbooks cover the period up to Phi Delta Psi joining the national sorority Alpha Xi Delta in 1950. The smaller of the two scrapbooks includes the silouette of a small dog on its cover.
