Scope and Contents
The collection consists of newspapers dealing with the occupation of France by the Nazi forces during World War II. The collection also contains other publications, including a letter written in 1939. The newspapers urge French citizens to support French troops in the fight against Germany. Many of these newspapers were created by clandestine and revolutionary groups, both before the start of the war and during the war.
