E.A. Kral, Paranormal Collection
Scope and Contents
The collection consists of photocopies of newspaper and journal articles as well as transcripts of interviews and some media presentations relating to various aspects of the paranormal in Nebraska and nationwide. Included are several original documents, a variety of videotapes of speakers' presentations, and a 45-minute slide-tape "UFO Reports: A Problem for Science" produced in 1977 by Kral for nationwide use. Kral organized the material into 28 sections, and used the terms "state" and "national" to indicate whether material came from Nebraska newspapers and other sources or from outside the state. In the year 2025, Kral's original investigative field notes will be available. His correspondence with a wide variety of paranormal investigators in North America is housed in the E.A. Kral Papers (Spec MS #67) at the UNL Archives.
