The Laurel Horton, Quilt Paper contains Laurel Horton’s correspondence, interviews, publications, personal journals, quilt exhibition materials, quilt scrapbooks, conference and workshop presentations, American Quilt Study Group seminars, and quilt research materials including English, French, Swedish, African American quilts, and other research. Photographs and slide presentations include “Hands All Around,” Archives of Appalachia presentation, 1991 trip to Ireland, “Quilts: The Irish Connection” presentation, Vietnam, Sweden, North Carolina quilts, American Quilt Study Group, and others.
Significant correspondents include Cuesta Benberry, Barbara Brackman, Katy Christopherson, Jean Ray Laury, and Sally Garoutte.
