Robert E. Knoll, English Papers
Scope and Contents
The Knoll Papers mainly relate to his career as an author. They consist of correspondence and subject files compiled by Knoll, manuscripts and publications authored by Knoll, biographical materials, and a few photographs and miscellaneous items. The correspondence and subject files contain letters between Knoll and various noted authors including Ezra Pound, Wright Morris, and William Carlos Williams. Most of the materials in the correspondence and subject files relate to Knoll's research and publications on Robert McAlmon and Weldon Kees and to the publication of his own books.
