Scope and Contents
The materials include correspondence to Faulkner, both personal and business, from 1930-1980. Those items of correspondence that are not written by Faulkner include letters sent to her by Wright Morris, Bernice Slote, and Helen Cather Southwick, Willa Cather's niece. Other materials include articles written by Faulkner and notes that she gathered on Willa Cather's writings and on Elizabeth Shepley Sergeant. The item entitled, Dream Bien Meublé is an un-revised Cather-related article by Faulkner. The book reviews are those Faulkner collected on general literary authors. The collection also includes awards and certificates won by Faulkner, newspaper clippings, and photographs of Faulkner, her family, and friends.
