Biographical / Historical

Eve Wheatcroft-Granick is a quilt researcher and collector, specializing in Amish quilts. Wheatcroft-Granick grew up in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, and received a B.F.A. from Washington University, St. Louis, and a M.F.A. from the University of Iowa, Iowa City. Granick's interest in the Amish began in the mid-1970s when she traveled throughout the Midwest with her antique dealer husband, David Wheatcroft, in search of Amish quilts. Buying and selling Amish quilts led to collecting them and researching how they were produced.
