Carrie Miller collection
Scope and Contents
The diary appears to be dated within the first half of 1884 and is in generally good condition, although several pages have been torn out from the back. After the last entry by Carrie Miller, there are handwritten comments in German in another individual's handwriting. The letter, addressed to "Miss Miller" from Johnnie E McAvoy has significant damage at the top and bottom of the folded page, which appears to be insect damage. The portions obliterated include the location, date and portions of text.
