Scope and Contents
News clippings about author Maude Smith Delavan and her books The Rumelhearts of Rampler Avenue (1937) and A Rumelheart Must Roam (1939). Also included are notes collected by Lucy Phelan for a review of the book and a Books in Brief version of the book. In writing The Rumelhearts of Rampler Avenue, Delavan was inspired by the controversy between the Happy Hollow nieghborhood and the University of Omaha's proposed (and eventual) move to the Dodge Street campus.
