This collection of correspondence from the Office of the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences includes correspondence with UNO deans from the Colleges of Education, Fine Arts, Engineering, and CPACS, as well as other university administrators. Also included in this collection are letters, reports, proposals, and copies of publications from UNO colleges, offices, and departments. These items were often sent to deans for their perusal.

Custodial History

Much of this correspondence was generated during the tenure of long-time UNO College of Arts and Sciences dean John Newton. The folders were in the Office of the Dean, College of Arts and Sciences for many years. Space concerns may have prompted transfer to University Archives. The records were transferred in June 2015.
