The collection is composed of materials from proposed Mav Monument prototypes including three small clay bull figurines. Also included are and a variety of artist's renderings portraying the proposed Mav Monument statues and site.

Custodial History
The UNO Alumni Association acquired this material during the search for an artist to create the sculpture of the Maverick Bull – the UNO mascot. The winning sculpture (the Mav Monument) is currently located just north of the Health, Physical Education, & Recreation building.
