Nebraska Masterpieces: Arts Education Series Collection
Scope and Contents
The Nebraska Masterpieces: Arts Education Series Collection is comprised of one binder from the University of Nebraska at Omaha Center for Innovation in Arts Education, which includes the Nebraska Arts Council as a sponsor. Each of the six Nebraska Masterpieces: Arts Education Series posters showcases works by a different Nebraska artist with some background information about the works and the artist printed on the poster's verso. The artists represented are Karen Kunc, Kent Bellows, Jun Kaneko, Keith Jacobshagen, Larry Ferguson, and Michael James. The binder provides more detailed information about those artists and their works, along with lesson plans and instructional materials prepared by Shari Hofshire, Frances Thurber, and Joanne Sowell of the UNO Department of Art and Art History. The posters and binders were created and used circa 2007.
