Scope and Contents

The Nebraska League of Women Voters Collection comprises newsletters, pamphlets, questionnaires, voter guides, and other documents produced by the League of Women Voters of Nebraska, along with smaller selection of similar materials from the Omaha League of Women Voters and the National League of Women Voters. League of Women Voters materials span the time period from 1922 until 1942, with some gaps. Scattered issues of the League of Women Voters Nebraska Bulletin (1922-1923) and The Intelligent Voter (1924-1942) are available. Pamphlets include: "A Study of the Sheppard-Towner Act with Special Reference to Nebraska" by Ada R. Kuhn of the Nebraska Leageue of Women Voters; "The Omaha League of Women Voters" promotional pamphlet. Information to voters compiled from replies to questionnaires sent to candidates are available for state offices for the primaries (July 18, 1922) and County Commissioners compiled by the Omaha League of Women Voters (undated). The collection also includes some miscellaneous material concerning the Nebraska state general election on November 5, 1912.

The collection is open for research use.
