Scope and Contents
The UNO College of Public Affairs and Community Service Records thus far only includes the newsletters produced for faculty and staff in the College. The first issue, dated June 11, 1973, was titled SPACS Newsletter, reflecting the first year of the organization's existence, before it was upgraded from a School to a College within UNO. The publication underwent several title changes: Newsletter of the College of Public Affairs and Community Service (September through November/December 1973); Happenings (April 1975 through October 1976; and CPACS Happenings (November 1976 through October 1983).

The collection is open for research use. Manuscript collections and archival records may contain materials with sensitive or confidential information that is protected under federal or state right to privacy laws and regulations, the Nebraska Public Records Statutes (Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 84-712 through 84-712.09), and other relevant regulations. Confidential material may include, but is not limited to, educational, medical, and personnel records.
