UNO Course Catalogs and Class Schedules Collection
Scope and Contents
The UNO Course Catalogs and Class Schedules Collection consists of course catalogs and class schedules from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) and its predecessor the Municipal University of Omaha (OU). Undergraduate and graduate course catalogs cover the period from 1911 until 2012. Spring, fall, summer, and evening class schedules cover the period from 1910 until 2001, with some gaps in coverage, particularly with pre-1968 materials.
New material added 2018-02-28: UNO graduate and undergraduate catalogs, as well as selected course schedules and a few documents used by UNO History Department faculty, circa late 1960s through mid 1990s.

Conditions Governing Access
The collection is open for research use. Manuscript collections and archival records may contain materials with sensitive or confidential information that is protected under federal or state right to privacy laws and regulations, the Nebraska Public Records Statutes (Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 84-712 through 84-712.09), and other relevant regulations. Confidential material may include, but is not limited to, educational, medical, and personnel records. Researchers are advised that the disclosure of certain information pertaining to identifiable living individuals represented in this collection without the consent of those individuals may have legal ramifications (e.g., a cause of action under common law for invasion of privacy may arise if facts concerning an individual's private life are published that would be deemed highly offensive to a reasonable person) for which the University of Nebraska Omaha assumes no responsibility.

Received by Criss Library prior to 2014. Accession details are incomplete or absent.
New material added 2018-02-28: Collection of catalogs and class schedules which had been stored in the UNO Department of History, where faculty members consulted them for advising and course management purposes. Transferred to University Archives in January 2018 by John A. Grigg, Chair of the Department of History.
