Buffett Ephemera Collection
Content Description
The Buffett Ephemera Collection includes material about Warren Buffett, Buffett’s immediate family members, and Berkshire Hathaway. The collection is an artificial collection of donations from various individuals. Included are magazine and other news articles, fliers and other material distributed at or related to the Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholders meeting, University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Business Administration publications related to Buffett, and related material.

Conditions Governing Access
The collection is open for research use. Manuscript collections and archival records may contain materials with sensitive or confidential information that is protected under federal or state right to privacy laws and regulations, the Nebraska Public Records Statutes (Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 84-712 through 84-712.09), and other relevant regulations. Confidential material may include, but is not limited to, educational, medical, and personnel records. Researchers are advised that the disclosure of certain information pertaining to identifiable living individuals represented in this collection without the consent of those individuals may have legal ramifications (e.g., a cause of action under common law for invasion of privacy may arise if facts concerning an individual's private life are published that would be deemed highly offensive to a reasonable person) for which the University of Nebraska Omaha assumes no responsibility.

Custodial History
Robert Miles donated his collection of books, magazines, and other ephemera related to Warren Buffett in February 2018. The collection was accepted by Dean David Richards. Selected ephemera and printed material not subsequently added to the book collection in UNO Libraries' Archives and Special Collection makes up the Buffett Ephemera Collection.
Accruals
Future additions to the collection will be accepted from various donors.
Separated Materials
Berkshire Hathaway annual reports, books about the company or Warren Buffett, and other volumes were separated, added to the Special Collections book collection, and are described in the library catalog.
