Thomas Majeski Papers
Scope and Contents
The Thomas Majeski Papers contain the professional papers of Thomas Majeski from his tenure as a professor of Art and Art History at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, 1963-1999, and materials related to the UNO Print Workshop and the Visiting Artists Program (both established by Majeski in 1976 and still in operation). A portion of the collection is organized by the names of the artists who held residencies at the UNO Print Workshop through the Visiting Artists Program. Materials in the collection include correspondence, notes, catalogs, pamphlets, flyers, research papers, articles, forms, news clippings, student evaluations, resumes, photographs, and slides. Topics include printmaking, lithography, intaglio, serigraphy, and relief printing.

The collection is open for research use. Manuscript collections and archival records may contain materials with sensitive or confidential information that is protected under federal or state right to privacy laws and regulations, the Nebraska Public Records Statutes (Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 84-712 through 84-712.09), and other relevant regulations. Confidential material may include, but is not limited to, educational, medical, and personnel records.
