Scope and Contents

The OU Law School Collection includes administrative records, the University of Omaha School of Law Lambda Phi Legal Fraternity Minute Book (handwritten meeting minutes, 1921-1936), materials pertaining to Frank L. Frost's career as a lawyer in Nebraska (four unidentified rolled documents), a large photograph of 1922 OU College of Law Lambda Phi members (including F.L. Frost), a large photograph of 1934 OU College of Law Lambda Phi members (including P.M. McShane), and news clippings such as "That downtown law school" (Omaha Sun newspaper clipping, May 13, 1976 (reprint)).

The collection is open for research use. Custodial History

Five items were donated to University Archives in 2005 by Jack A. Frost (OU Class of 1951), son of OU College of Law graduate, including a large photograph of 1922 OU College of Law Lambda Phi members (including F. L. Frost) and four tightly rolled documents that will need special handling to be unrolled without damage. A photograph of 1934 OU College of Law Lambda Phi members was donated to University Archives in 2002 by Peter J. and Loretta McShane of Lincoln, Nebraska, the son and daughter-in-law of College of Law graduate P. M. McShane (who appears in the picture). Other materials in the collection lack accession records. The folders in the Administrative Records series were transferred from the University Archives File Cabinet Collection.
