Scope and Contents
The UNO Bachelor of General Studies Degree Records are comprised of files related to the Bachelors of General Studies degree program in the College of Continuing Studies at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, covering the time period from about 1950 until about 2005 (with the bulk of the material from the latter half of that period). Materials include agreements with other area colleges and universities, marketing plans, committee and task force information, correspondence, course information (the bulk of the collection), degree information, policies and procedures, publicity information, surveys, and miscellaneous.

Custodial History
In 2003, the College of Continuing Studies was subsumed into the College of Public Affairs and Community Service. During or soon after 2003, staff were moved into new offices. Lacking the space to retain their files, CCS transferred their records to the University Archives.
