Hollie Bethel Papers
Scope and Contents
The Hollie Bethel collection includes materials related to Dr. Hollie Bethel's life in education. She served as a professor of Teacher Education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from about 1953 until 1977. The collection includes two photo albums which cover her life from the age of four weeks to the last years of her life (1913-1998); loose photographs; and photocopies of plaques.

The collection is open for research use. Custodial History
In August 1998, Les Valentine, University Archivist, met with Jim Leslie, John Langan, and the executor of Dr. Hollie Bethel's estate. As Bethel had died with no heirs, Valentine was encouraged to gather from Bethel's apartment materials related to her "interests and involvements at UNO."
