The oral history interview of Reverend Patrick McCaslin concerning conditions on the Winnebago Reservation in Thurston County, Nebraska was conducted by UNO student Sister Marilyn Graskowiak on October 14, 1975. McCaslin described his service on the Winnebago Reservation and shared information about the relationship and history between the reservation and the U.S. government. He emphasized the need for self-determination as the primary means of effecting real change in the lives of the members of the Winnebago tribe.
