Scope and Contents
B.A.D. 416 button from 2000 showing opposition to Nebraska Initiative 416, the proposed constitutional amendment to ban same-sex unions in Nebraska that was on the November 2000 ballot. The button depicts a red circle and slash over the letters "B.A.D." and the number 416. Contemporary sources say "B.A.D." was an acronym for "bigotry and discrimination."
