A circa 1870 unsigned watercolor view of Kabul, Afghanistan with the Hindu Kush Mountains in the background. The title on the verso is "Caubul." The watercolor on paper is approximately 16x21.5 cm / 6 1/4 x 8 1/2 inches.

The 1870 watercolor of Kabul was attached to a recent matte with an unidentified tape when received. The watercolor was removed from its accompanying matte when it was accessioned.
