 Series — Box: 1-13
The Photographs Series contains 17 subseries that date from 1923 to 2015. Images cover Chuck Hagel's life from his childhood to his years in the U.S. Senate to his retirement as U.S. Secretary of Defense. These images provide a compelling visual take on both the private and public life of Hagel as he navigated many different spheres in service to the people of Nebraska and the United States.

The series contains 3.5 cubic feet of framed materials and 9.5 cubic feet of foldered materials including photographs and negatives. The majority of images are housed in folders. The remaining images are in the last three subseries -- "Framed Family Photographs," "Scrapbooks," and "Photographs on CDs."
