Biography
Janice Sue Boyer was employed by the Criss Library, University of Nebraska at Omaha, from 1986/1987 until her retirement in 2012. She came from a background as a serials cataloger. She served as Instructor (1986/1987), Assistant/ Associate Director (1987/1988-1999), Associate Dean (1999-2000), Interim Dean (2000-2001), Dean (2001-2004), Serials Cataloger (2004-2006), and Director of Technical Services (briefly known as Access and Metadata) (2006-2012). She also served the Nebraska Library Association for many years, including a term as NLA President (2011-2012), Technical Services Round Table Chair (2006-2007), and College & University Section Chair (1991-1992).
