Biography
Nancy Belck was the University of Nebraska at Omaha Chancellor from 1997 until 2006. Belck earned a bachelor of science in teacher education in 1964 from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA, and a master of textile science in 1965 from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN. Belck earned a Ph.D. in family ecology, communications in 1972 from Michigan State University. Before arriving at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Nancy Belck was the chancellor at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL, from 1994 until 1997.
