Biography

Robert G. Ruetz was a Professor of Music at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and its predecessor the University of Omaha from 1965 until 1990. During that time, he served as Assistant Dean of the College of Fine Arts and director of the UNO Opera Theatre. He also served on the Opera Omaha Board of Directors and was one of the co-authors of the book Opera Omaha: The First 50 Years, 1958-2008.

He received a B.M. from the University of Notre Dame, an M.M. from the University of Cincinnati, and a D.M. from Indiana University.
