Biography

Dr. Franklin Titus Thompson is a professor in Teacher Education (1993-retiring May 2022). He was also a musician, performing under the name Francois Ja'Boi, later Jaboi. Thompson taught at the high school and university levels. He was elected to the Omaha City Council and represented District 6 (Central Omaha) for four terms. From 2017 to 2022, he led the city of Omaha's Human Rights and Relations office as director.
