Biography
Dr. Joanne Li, Ph.D., CFA, became Chancellor of the University of Nebraska at Omaha on July 1, 2021. She is the first woman of color to serve as UNO Chancellor and first Asian-American to serve in any executive leadership position in the NU system.
Prior to her time at UNO, she served as Dean of the College of Business at Florida International Unviersity. She also previously served at Wright State University, Towson University, and Loyola University of Maryland. She holds bachelor's and doctoral degrees in finance from Florida State University.
