Biography
Doug Patterson was a professor of theatre at the University of Nebraska at Omaha for 34 years, until his retirement in 2018. He wrote and directed many plays during his tenure at UNO, and he served as Chair of Dramatic Arts circa 1990. He served as President of the Faculty Senate circa 1999. Beginning circa 1991 and continuing through the rest of his career, he was heavily involved with Augusto Boal's teaching practices of the Theatre of the Oppressed, delivering workshops all over the world.

This collection includes posters from UNO Theatre productions and two scripts. One of these scripts is Hicks at College, the first play performed (1913) at the University of Omaha. There is also a spiral bound publication: UNO Performing Arts Center: Preliminary Sketches & Program (1986).
