Biography

Howard H. (the Dutchman) Hutsell, Jr. (July 21, 1935-August 4, 2017) retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Army in 1985. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 through 1958 ending as a Staff Sergeant. As a graduate of the University of Arkansas he was commissioned into the Regular Army (Field Artillery) in June 1961. He served multiple tours of duty in Vietnam in field artillery and infantry.
