Robert W. "Bob" Welk was a University of Nebraska at Omaha Professor of Dramatic Arts (1966-2001). He was born in Rippon, WI. He received a B.A. (1960) in Speech from North Central College in Naperville, IL, and an M.A. from Kent State University in Kent, OH. In 1999, Professor Welk received the UNO Chancellor’s Medal.
