Biography

Peter Hill was a University of Nebraska at Omaha Professor of Art and Art History (1958-2000). He attended Albion College in Albion, MI, and received an M.F.A. (1958) from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, MI. While at UNO, Professor Hill taught beginning, intermediate, and advanced painting. During these years Hill also participated in 61 juried art shows, ten invitationals, and 25 one-person exhibitions. Peter Hill received the UNO Excellence in Teaching Award in 1977. Peter Hill was 86 years old when he died on April 20, 2020.
