Brent D. Bowen was Director of the Aviation Institute in the University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Public Affairs & Community Service (1992-2008). Professor Bowen was born in Durant, OK. He received his B.A. (1983) from Oklahoma State University, an M.B.A. (1988) from Oklahoma City University, and a Ph.D. (1990) from Oklahoma State University. He was a frequent guest on C-Span and Good Morning America. The Chronicle of Higher Education has referred to Professor Bowen as the "Watchdog of the airline industry."
