Biography

Verne Haselwood was a University of Nebraska at Omaha Professor of Teacher Education (1963-1999, retired). Professor Haselwood received a B.S. (1960) from the Municipal University of Omaha, an M.L.S. (1963) from the University of Denver, and a Ph.D. (1972) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Before joining UNO as a technical services librarian in 1963, Professor Haselwood taught in Lewis Central Community Schools in Council Bluffs, IA, and in the Council Bluffs public schools.
